Bob Barnes moved to St Petersburg from Sa
vannah,
Georgia with his family in 1960. He answered an add he found in the paper for a
drummer in a up and coming young group. He didn't know it at the time but this
would take him on adventures people only get to dream about. Destin to be the
groups leader Bob's hard core rockabilly beats and driving personality took the
group all over the United States. Now still the leader of the Impacs after 40
years he is still going strong joined by his son in the band Bobby
"JR".
